Drop Those Chopsticks! Sushi Is Finger Food, He Says
The New York Times Dining Section has run a little feature with photo today about my “Sushi Concierge” dinner class series at Jewel Bako restaurant in Manhattan’s East Village. I’m pleased, of course, though I wish the blurb had mentioned a bit more about all the fun stories, history lessons, and behind-the-scenes info I share with attendees, rather than just the basics of etiquette, which will probably make seasoned sushi aficionados feel they wouldn’t get much out of the class, when in fact many of those who come tell me they learn a lot.
Beggars can’t be choosers, I guess. Cool picture, anyway.
